FEBRUARY IN COZUMEL is better than February in, well, just about anywhere. I was lucky enough to spend a few days here with my favorite travel buddy, my daughter Megan, at the invitation of my son and his new bride, who were there celebrating their marriage.
While we didn’t see the newlyweds as much as we wanted — they were off being newlyweds, after all — it was a glorious escape from reality. The wine flowed, the waves crashed, and I made some new friends. (The crocs and bats I can live without, but Javier and Victor, I miss you already!)
I didn’t take nearly as many photographs as I had planned, by who cares. Too busy making memories!
Warm but windy waves kept us from snorkeling, but made for some nice seascapes.
